What is a peptide?
Peptides are short chains of amino acids, often called the building blocks of proteins. Many peptides act as messengers within the body, helping cells communicate. Different peptides serve different purposes, so always follow the instructions provided for your specific product.
Why are peptides shipped as a dry powder?
Most peptides are shipped as a freeze-dried (lyophilized) powder because this form helps improve stability during storage and shipping.
Lyophilization is the technical term for the freeze-drying process. During this process, moisture is removed from the peptide under carefully controlled conditions, which helps preserve its stability until it is ready to be mixed with the appropriate liquid, typically bacteriostatic water (BAC water).
Shipping peptides in a freeze-dried (lyophilized) form helps protect the product during normal storage and transit.
Once mixed, always follow the storage instructions provided with your specific product.
What does reconstitution mean?
Reconstitution simply means mixing the freeze-dried peptide powder with the appropriate liquid, typically bacteriostatic water (BAC water).
What is BAC water?
BAC water (bacteriostatic water) is sterile water that contains a small amount of benzyl alcohol to help reduce bacterial growth after opening. It is commonly used when mixing peptides intended for multiple uses.

What are some general safe handling tips?
Wash and dry your hands.
• Work on a clean surface.
• Inspect the vial for damage.
• Clean the rubber stoppers with a 70% alcohol pad.
• Allow the alcohol to dry completely.
• Always use a new sterile syringe and needle.
• Never reuse needles or syringes.
• Allow BAC water to flow gently down the inside wall of the vial.
• Gently swirl if needed.
• Avoid vigorous shaking.
How much BAC water should I use?
There isn't one correct amount for every peptide. Always follow the instructions provided with your specific product. Adding more BAC water does not change the amount of peptide in the vial—it only changes the concentration.
How do I calculate my dose?
Your dose depends on the concentration of your mixture and the amount prescribed or recommended for your specific product. Double-check all calculations and use a reputable peptide calculator if needed.
My ice pack arrived melted. Is my peptide ruined?
Not necessarily. A melted ice pack alone does not automatically mean your peptide has been damaged. If your vial is cracked, wet, damaged, or appears unusual, contact us before using it.
How should I store my peptides?
Always follow the storage recommendations provided with your specific product. In general, protect freeze-dried peptides from excessive heat, moisture, and direct sunlight.
How long do peptides last?
Shelf life varies depending on the peptide and manufacturer. Always refer to your product's instructions for storage recommendations and expiration information.
My powder is stuck to the side of the vial. Is that normal?
Yes. It is completely normal for the dry powder to settle on the bottom, stick to the side of the vial, or have an uneven appearance.
My solution looks cloudy after mixing.
If the solution remains cloudy after it should have dissolved, or if you notice unexpected discoloration or floating particles, do not use the product. Contact support.
When should I contact support?
Contact us if your vial arrived damaged, the seal is broken, the solution contains visible particles after mixing, you received the wrong item, your shipment was damaged, or you have questions about your order.
